三星确认骁龙 820 使用第二代 14nm FinFET 工艺

　　骁龙 820 此前已经传闻将会由三星代工生产，今天三星官方正式确认了这个消息，并且表示大规模生产使用的是三星最新的第二代 14nm FinFET 工艺。三星电子发言人的原话如下：

　　“We are pleased to start production of our industry-leading, 2nd generation 14nm FinFET process technology that delivers the highest level of performance and power efficiency. Samsung will continue to offer derivative processes of its advanced 14nm FinFET technology to maintain our technology leadership.”By Charlie Bae(Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing，System LSI Business，Samsung Electronics)

　　这也说明骁龙 820 将会拥有 LPP(Low Power Plus)的特性，对比起使用第一代 14nm FinFET 的技术制造处理器，能在提升 15% 速度的同时电池消耗也降低 15%，兼顾性能与续航，三星自家的 Exynos 8890 如无意外也会使用该项工艺。目前使用第一代 14nm FinFET 工艺的是三星代工的苹果 A9 处理器，还有装备在三星 Galaxy 系列旗舰上的 Exynos 7420。用上了最先进的工艺后，不知道骁龙 820 能解决当年 810“火热”的问题不。
